Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

Any previous firm experience? If not, I’d see if you can spin your in-house experience for a junior role in privacy or tech transactions at a law firm. If you have previous firm experience, then replace “junior” with an appropriate seniority for the YOE. If you’re wanting to exit law altogether, ESG is a pretty big area (and privacy is a component to that). There’s going to be a large need for ESG program managers, etc. at companies of all sizes and in all industries. IMO, it’s the next huge hiring area.
Are you planning on exiting law completely or just the job you're at? Without knowing I'd say look at consulting for start up for initial assessments and the like for privacy and other cyber concerns.
Privacy and product counsel roles with that experience level are very common in a variety of industries. I would try searching companies you’re interested in on job boards, LinkedIn, etc.

Demand is intense for remote freelancers in this field. If you’re open to hanging your own shingle, the legal gig economy could serve you well.
More information on why and what demand? Thanks!
