If you’re white like me it’s so important to realize that we were raised in a society where institutionalized racism is normalized, and we were born with privilege. You can’t choose the color of your skin, but you can choose to put ego aside and reflect on why this isn’t happening to me, and be vocal about being anti-racist.

Being in a third round interview in itself is a vote of confidence because nobody wastes time doing that many rounds with a candidate they’re not genuinely considering hiring.
That said, anything can happen between now and an offer, including: change of budget, delay in approval, resignation on the team resulting in a restructure, change in seniority/skills needed for the role, late-breaking stakeholder who needs to be involved in the hiring process, new candidate entering the mix who’s more qualified than you… and more.
I don’t mean to be discouraging. Just that there’s a lot a factors you’ll never be able to read from interview vibes alone, so probably the way to drive yourself least crazy is to decide “that went well enough” and then try not to obsess about it too much until you hear something. Good luck!
