Hi, I been working for Lloyds Bank for almost 9 years now , I recently attended a interview for Barclays and offered an Senior Business Analyst AVP role in Wealth and private banking area. I did not see much difference in the salary offered and it is pretty much same ie 68.5k.But the difference is current role is London based, however the Barclays one is based in Glasgow where cost of living is less in comparison. I am unable to decide whether to take the offer or not..any suggestions will be helpful pls.

Product Management and Biz Ops is so different. I don’t know how one can be a GREAT fit in either with high skill if he/she doesn’t know exactly what he/she wants.
Might as well tag everyone on the app for this question I guess

So I’d spend time just researching around what these roles entail and what skills are needed. Prepping for PM is very different than bizops or strat. Technical fluency isn’t gained from just reading about it
I thought the book Work Rules by lazlo bock was a great way to understand the Google culture and get past the fit interviews.
As for the tech interviews. Those are basically a combination of problem structuring + solid communication + deep tech skills
Idk I work at Apple 😂
I think “cracking the PM interview” is a good place to start - gives you a nice high level overview but as A1 said all the roles are different and you’d need to understand what skills are needed for the role/product
