What are the biggest pitfalls you’ve seen management consultants fall into when they leave consulting to start up their own firm or join an early stage startup?

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore. I don’t think I even want to continue with any litigation work. I’m having a hard time finding firms that are hiring entry level associate positions that don’t require at least 3+ years experience in-house. Should I start at a business law firm to get experience working with corporations first?

Hi! I'm currently doing a part time remote Job for an American company as a graphic designer. I'm still in college and am planning to hold this job for atleast 2 years till my graduation. I wanted to know if a part time job counts as a valid YOE or will it be seen to be less than a full time job? Looking for a little help on developing a website prototype to test (app too if possible). I need:

A backend that allows for volunteers to add their availability hours (something like Calendly integration), short bio, profile pic etc

A front end that requires users to sign up, and then lets them directly sign up with the volunteers.

I looked at Wix online booking system but you can only schedule staff by working hours. Built sites on WP before but lacking in time currently.

Been welding for my company for 13+ yrs and I think it’s time for a change. The culture has completely changed and became toxic.
