You'll need either a stellar resume - one that stands out from the rest that are submitted into the online application - or a referral.
I'm not sure how it works for a student. I assume you interned at EY and are about to start your senior year.
When I was a junior employee at OW, I referred an experienced hire from IBM and they did get an interview. I sent my referral in after the person had submitted their online application. That was a couple years ago though.

I applied online without any referrals or connections at the firm. About a week later received an invitation to take a personality/fit test. A couple days after taking that I received an interview invite via email. Ultimately I cancelled the interview since by that time I had already received a FT offer somewhere else that I was happy with.
Going out on a limb I’d just say they liked my resume. Good GMAT and summer experience at a peer firm probably helped. Trust me, I don’t check any diversity boxes.
Pretty slim. I went to a target and many people I knew that applied didn't get interviews.
Get a referral from the right geo. European here, happy to help if that fits.
