During union negotiations last year, we asked for a small number of bedside RNs to be in committee on workplace violence (after an RN was actually beaten up by pt. & hospitalized) although almost no cost to administration- they declined so no voice from those ACTUALLY experiencing. Now same “leaders” all in masks getting their pics taken for PR thanking us etc. hassled us on every tiny contract point - now “we’re all in this together?

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). Curious to know what others feel about living with their parents. I’m 25 making over 140k and give about 1k to my moms retirement account a month and help around the house. I come from an eastern culture and we tend not to move out until marriage and are Moreso collective than a typical western family. My brother moved out at 28 after he was already making 200+ and had no shame. All my peers make me feel guilty for “mooching” but they all had to move out once they got a job at like 22. Thoughts?

20 year road warrior here. My wife & I made it work through teamwork & commitment. My weekends were spent at home. Doing family things.

I know a guy who (pre COVID) traveled every week, yet found time to do 200 mile weekend biking trips with his ‘crew’. Almost every weekend.

His family vacations always seemed to include a 500 mile bike race or some other extreme event.
