Thanks for the tip. Going to use this one on my seniors
I don't tend to complain about that, because I find that everyone does that in some shape or form. It just depends on people's vision, and whether or not they are using monitors while they are working.
send out separate meeting invites every week for a weekly status rather than 1 recurring invite
Do they know of the recurring option? May be they are just clueless?
Not spell checking Excel workbooks. Come on guys just hit the spell check button before you send it to me it’s not that hardddddd
But it doesn’t have the red squiggly lines under the misspelled words
Not asking a full question and expecting me to know what they’re talking about 😂
Lmao that same thing happened to me yesterday
ITT - insecure manager trying to bond and find common ground with other insecure managers on how first years associates are clueless
PwC 1 smug but forgets he is doing the work of a senior but is getting paid the same as first year associates he likes to put on blast here
Send me a an excel file for review but didn't bother to change the name from "Book 1"
Oof
They completely change the naming convention on files, mostly the version detail. Like for example, changing how the date is formatted or leaving their initials in a different way, etc.
To clarify - not on a power trip. I am well aware of my past and also present shortcomings. Just wanted a good laugh, all in good fun. We’ve all been there!
Rising Star
Justified text alignment and use of two spaces between sentences in Word.
The reviewer above me probably changes it right back. But for a brief moment, all was right.
I am really curious about why you think non- justified is better
Not look at PY
Missing emails because they don't delete or sort emails. Have several with 5,000+emails in their inbox
I don’t understand people who don’t use folders to file away emails once they are done! My inbox is essentially my to-do list.
Have you let them know that this bothers you? Maybe start with that before putting your associate on blast....
I am actually the opposite. I like my stuff super zoomed out but my associate has poor vision so it’s super zoomed in and it annoys me. Obviously not his fault. Also naming conventions. Like if the description is too vague I don’t like it.
I’ve noticed a lot of my staff doing that where they zoom out on spreadsheets. I think someone must have told them to do it at their training to check for review notes.
What’s your guys age and experience? At what point would you say you felt like your work was better than your peers or newer incoming associates?
