Could anyone kindly tell me about the Investment Management and Private Equity Audit Group at Deloitte? 1. Work Life Balance (Is it worst than the ordinary Big 4 WLB?) 2. I work on the other side of the table from them. Idk if it's just the teams EY sends my client but holy shit they are bad at what they do. Almost no attempt whatsoever to actually understand the client's environment and systems, and abysmal understanding of technical fundamentals.
3 years. New team every other quarter. All of them suck. The partner is a goddamn moron.
Damn you talking about my team manager 1? Lol
Always new ppl because the SF offices can’t retain anyone
What industry is your company, manager 1? Just curious it it's tech, biotech, or something else
Biotech
Manager1: it ain’t fair to jump to conclusion based on one person / one team. I would say it’s the people that are sent to you. Amen.
And the only reason the client keeps EY around is because they don't notice horrific fuckups made by their shit shows of Accounting and HR depts, or can be convinced to look the other way when they do notice
It’s gotta be at least partly their leadership. Thankfully we’re not biotech - but I’ve joined teams before where the client was always frustrated with EY despite all the new teams because of leadership but we’ve turned it around.
