What are they paying S2s in LCOL nowadays? Looking to possibly get back into public accounting - Audit.

Seems like hiring has slowed down but i feel we are in for another bout of great resignations due to companies calling it's employees back now and employees finding ways to continue WFH. The ones who get lucky continue WFH while not so lucky ones will start switching and startups and other mid level companies cashing in on the talent. Looks like it's the lull before the storm.

I am looking for a single occupancy (at least semi furnished) room in a 2/3 BHK flat (Female) in Kharadi/Viman Nagar or nearby areas.

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. My partner and I are not big spenders and anticipate have enough to retire comfortably in 40s (obviously a lot can change). I have been assured I will become SM in next year (currently 31 years old).
