Hi Fishes, Can Anyone please tell, one of my friend joined Tech M in August, At the time of joining she was 3 months pregnant and now shes worrying about her manager. She wants to inform them about her pregnancy; is it right time to inform? Or she needs to wait for 6 more months for that to inform? Anyone please clearify.. I think it’s fine for a destination wedding! Most people are taking the next day anyway
Destination wedding here as well! We’re getting married on a Tuesday, not because it was cheaper but because it was only of the 4 days the Venue had available (booked 14 months in advance and all the available days were random).
The majority of our guests are traveling far so they will make a vacation out of it and will be taking a full week. Don’t worry about a Sunday wedding 😊
Why not Friday? On Sunday you are either making people take PTO the next day or leave early to get sleep for work the next day.
Edit: just saw you said destination. How far would guests be traveling?
Ah then yeah I’d say doesn’t matter whether it’s Sunday or Friday. Tbh if I were one of your guests I’d be taking a whole week lol.

For destination in spain when many are coming from the US i think it’s fine. typically i don’t love it but nobody is getting to spain without missing a few days of work anyway, so i say go for it
If it's destination for most, I don't think Sunday vs Saturday would matter. I have seen destination weddings on a Tuesday/Wednesday. Sunday may work better as guest may choose Friday night or Saturday to travel in. Also not sure if you have pre- and post- wedding events.
We want to host a welcome dinner for our guests. So Saturday night could work for that, then Sunday wedding. Next day brunch might be off though given that it is a Monday….
