The only people who do usually have MBAs from meaningless schools
Turbo douchey
What if you went to school in Boston?
What if my last name is MBA
Clown move
Mine says MD, FRS, JD, PhD, MBA Esquire
With all due respect, K1: I disagree.
The people who do this are usually the same ones who attended an “executive education” seminar at Harvard and now put “Harvard” as their main linkedin network.
The third^
What PWC1 said.
Honestly if I could include Esq, the Third at the end of my name/title I would because wtf
I saw someone wearing a t-shirt yesterday with MBA written in huge letters across the chest. Then underneath, in tiny font, it read: Tepper school of business. I would imagine it would be a bit like that
If you earned that credential of an MBA and are proud of it just use it who cares what people think
Hingle McCringleberry, MBA
Thanks everyone, leaving it off!
I hate using any one of those.
Nothing wrong with using a relevant, licensed professional designation like JD, CPA, CFA.
Agree it’s silly to include degrees or lightweight certs like PMP
Have seen it once, at a client in their email signature. Looked them up on LinkedIn and they went to Keller...
The people who do that tend to be the same ones who have a doctorate in Cuban literature but insist upon people calling them Dr. ____.
That being said, I have seen some people use the credential in their Outlook signature
Slalom: I feel like the people who really should use the professional designation universally, ie JD, MD, etc. aren’t usually on LinkedIn. My dad was a doctor (MD) and I am pretty sure the vast majority of physicians don’t want their patients reaching out to them on social media. I am sure a fair number of lawyers also want to have their privacy and distance as well. I can’t think of other professions that really warrant and deserve the constant reminder of their capabilities and licenses outside of their respective workplaces. LinkedIn at the end of the day is supposed to be for networking. If I didn’t have a need for it, I would delete my account
