What benefits does your top 10 firm offer? I am at EY and these are some that are offered that I wanted to see if your firm offers comparable options. I am looking to switch firms as a S2.

We get emails telling us we need to be back in the office. Hahahaha.
Only parking is reimbursed and meals are capped at $15 for reimbursement even if a client is billed for them. Employees pay their corporate Amex bills personally, so if you bill it as “out-of-pocket” on the firm invoice, it’s only partially out of the firm’s pocket. The employee eats the delta while the firm profits on it.
Jeez BDOs benefits are disappointing
It’s honestly sad our benefits compared to other firms 😕
We’re allowed to breathe.
Dont worry BDO RISE to the rescue 🛟
They give you CPR and a life vest
Some of Deloitte’s
-$1000 well-being subsidy (yearly) (can buy gaming systems, desks/chairs, exercise equipment/classes, book and board games, and a bunch of other stuff)
-$1000 hybrid commuting (think it sunsets in December 2023)
-$500 hybrid wfh to buy monitors, speakers, and such (one time, might be sunsetting soon? also there’s another way to request basic tech stuff)
-$250 cellphone/accessories allowance, can get a nice $0 phone and spend the $250 on AirPods or other headphones. (Every two years)
-Myself and most people I know have a work phone so we idk how much the reimbursement is for people who use one phone for both personal and work.
-my team is 100% remote but I’ve seen some people say they are requiring people on the bench to go in 2 days a week in some areas.
There are probably others that idk about since I’ve only been at the Firm for 1 year but I hope this helps.
Just checked, the email sent said it is being renewed but available for use between June 4th 2023 to Oct 31st 2023 at which point it will sunset
- $1200 well being reimbursement for A’s and SA’s
- $65/mo for cell phone (if your monthly bill exceeds that amount)
- 6% 401k contribution
To get 6%, you have to complete 1 year by dec 31.
BDO blows compared to what I just read, wild.
Might need to SS these and send it to Wayne.. wake up buddy!
Some of these were mentioned on the senior call in December and Matt Becker shot them all down.
He is a terrible leader.
Left consulting, but I’ll give you my firm’s perks.
6% no vesting 100% match.
1k HSA
25 days PTO
Best benefit, way more pay.
Where are you now?
DT has annually renewing 1000$ well being and 1000$ for commuting, 500 dollars WFH (one time doesn’t renew). 50% match on 401k up to 6%, a retirement cash balance that is available to you after 1 year of work with a 3 year vesting period. The cash balance has a guaranteed annual return. It has meal reimbursement if you go to eat with coworkers and discuss work. Probably a few other smaller benefits that I’m missing.
We have OT expensed dinner as well
If you have an HSA with HDLP health plan, they will contribute $250/500 a year to your HSA
I guess that’s the case, I have always had it 500/1000.
We get BDO swag - all about that swag
BDO 9
5% flat contribution to 401k with no vesting period. I think $350 reimbursement for fitness paid as 50% of what you spend. Some continuing education reimbursements
No vesting period is a huge win.
Is that overtime meal policy just audit/tax?
No, DAS has it as well
