Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

many! Seems like a lot of you guys are only concentrating on FAANG companies, or extremely large ones. I know there’s a lot of money there, but there’s also seems to be a lot of turnover. Which of course costs you money when you’re between jobs
The position I have now, which I only got six weeks ago, was only two interviews. On boarding took longer than the interview process.
When they want you, they want you
Many of them if you can induce FOMO.
Definitely not phenom people
Fortune 10 here, for most non-exec level roles we do the HR screening and then 3 interview rounds (hiring manager + 2 others chosen by the hiring manager).
A better question is what roles are you interviewing for and what companies that are making you do five rounds of interviews?! I have never had to do more than two rounds at any company I worked for. Five rounds just seems crazy to me.
I work in sales and have been interviewing for sales and marketing roles - recently the format for most companies has been HR screen, hiring manager, direct teammate, cross functional teammate, skip-level, cross-functional skip-level, and a final round with HR before offer. Usually there’s a take-home and/or presentation mixed in there somewhere as well. As someone mentioned previously in this thread, I think I’m going to start targeting smaller companies / startups - I’ve been targeting large companies and FAANG mostly and they all seem to follow this format right now
