The recruiter probably cast a wide net, since she might have to email 20 people to get 10 responses sometimes (or however many candidates make it to the initial phone call)
This time, in this job market, more people might be looking for a job, and you weren’t in the top of the ones who responded.
Or maybe they had a role and something happened with budget—lost a client, holding company implemented a hiring freeze etc.
A lot can happen, and rarely is the problem going to be the candidate’s response to scheduling a call, so I wouldn’t take it personallt
Why even bother asking availability and not respond? They are ghosting candidates after asking for their time. What a ridiculous method.
When did they first reach out and how long has it been since you responded with your availability? Recruiters are stretched thin more than ever these days, so it could just be they are busy with a large amount of candidates to uodate or get back to, no matter what the update is.
10 working days
Yeah, that’s long and unfortunate!
