There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. If its a large investment, such as a masters or more specifically an MBA, that you have an aim for how it would be used to help further your career. MBA is great to transition industries. Masters in some sort of specific area related to your job is great as well, as long as there’s a clear goal/path for its use.
On the other hand, always explore certifications as they can be much cheaper and provide the same value in certain cases.
Nevertheless, expanding your knowledge is always a good idea

I did that, went back, and got my Master's Degree after I had been in the workforce for several years. It did make me more employable and increased my earning potential. So, I am overall glad I went back to school and got that Master's degree but it did increase my student loan debt by a significant amount.
Nice! I’m thinking about getting my bachelors!
I think that's excellent, for the employee and the employer. So I would recommend discussing the possibility of career development through education with your employer, it would give you an idea about the type of organization you're involved in. Wether is reimbursement, complete or partial, is a good investment for both parties. If you can, go for the degree, if it's too much economically, professional certifications are a great second option.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
