Hi Friends, any news for ITA (C2) promotion?
I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Should I join @SAP considering its a Product based and good WLB and learning? Teck Stack - Java/Micro-services/cloud YOE - 11yrs

It depends what you want in your career. If you want to get into leadership, a smaller company will most likely get you there quicker. Otherwise, I would likely continue going for experience and becoming great and what I do and then make a change to kick start a leadership opportunity.

I think it depends on your current needs and where you are in your career. Generally speaking, if you are just starting out working for smaller companies on shorter stints should give you a diverse set of skills that will make you more attractive to the larger companies.
This also has the advantage of ensuring that your salary moves at a more rapid pace due to the job changes. Then you can find something in a large company that will hold your interest and challenge you while affording you more security.
Yes, the current economic situation is not as secure as it normally is but it will return to a more secure position after this correction.
