Wow, 4 years to SC? Nice! You'd do anything throughout the entire M&A life cycle. Most people pick an area to focus in (e.g. due diligence, PMI, IT) but you can influence what you do if you get support.
Sounds exactly like DDV at Pwc
P1, I’m not familiar with Deloittes org structure, just wanted to be as clear as possible. No need to be a dick
D3: Thanks with 4 years experience, but no MBA, should I be looking at consultant or Sr. Consultant roles?
4 years experience if that helps
Exact same. Crushing dd's and PMI
PMO
Thanks for including the LLP. I’d have been confused otherwise
A mixture of deal strategy at strategy& And DDV at pwc. CDD/ODD/M&A strategy is in same p&l as post merger integration. You can choose to focus on an area of the life cycle (I only do pre-deal) or bounce back and forth (post-deAl is much easier and lower hours, but more boring)
PwC ddv will promote to senior without an MBA. Deloitte won’t. Did they offer you sr consultant or consultant?
Much easier to move to strategy at Deloitte if you are within S&O and network. DDV doesn’t do any strategy work. They try and pull in S&
