Foundational phonics and how to create a playful classroom.

When you say playful classroom, are you referring to student engagement?

Personally. Just found out that I’m going to be the first Lecturer here in Spain to give a coaching course based on Future Classroom Labs’ dynamics and teacher movement in the area. Feel quite taken aback by it all. Should be fun. European teaching methods. ESL techniques. V. A. L. U. E. (Visualise the Adventure of Learning and Understanding Everything).

All things behavioral

I find it all so interesting, but my interest really peaks when I’m learning about how trauma affects the brain, physical health and mental health. For example, if my mother suffered trauma, that trauma (chronically increased cortisol, which is toxic) can take a hit on her physical health (increased diagnosis of asthma, heart disease, high BP, Diabetes etc.) and those same health effects can be now passed on to me and my sibs and for generations to come. It’s wild!

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
