Reason, is an agency that I worked for for 5+ years cut my rate 1/2 during the pandemic and wants to keep it that way saying broadcast is dead, buyers are a dime a dozen and that $45 is the going rate, meanwhile offering me a $4 mill TV buy at this rate. I'm a PA in the PNW working for a private group staffing ED's in several hospitals. Recently the group has asked the PA's to take on a couple new roles (triaging and rapid track from triage i.e. straightforward ESI 4, 5). With these changes the PA's are considering asking for increased pay in the form of an addition of a COLA (cost of living adjustment) to our normal salary. Was wondering if any other PA's in the ED have these in their contracts and at what rate.
