What is another career opportunity Paralegals can seek out? 7 years of corporate law here and think I want to swap to some kind of management/project manager role.

I would look into e-Discovery project management. Your experience in law will be valuable and you can directly obtain certifications that will enable you to transition to a role to earn more experience towards project management. These are 6-figure jobs, but tend to be exempt from OT pay, require long hours, and are stressful, but you know the lay of the land already, so I would imagine that you can handle it just fine.

Since you're a corporate paralegal, maybe a position as a Contracts Administrator.

Current student looking for advice. I interned at RBC Wealth Management last summer and currently have 2 offers for summer 2023 that require a decision next week: 1 for BASF (chemical manufacturing) and 1 for Peraton (defense technology); I am also waiting to hear back from SMBC (S&T), Point72, Lord Abbett, Boeing, and Shell. I hope to break into banking next summer, and I’m interested in the Natural Resources, Industrials, and Real Estate industry groups. Any advice on what to do? Thanks!

Currently a first year staff in Risk Advisory in a Mid-Tier Firm hoping to move to Big 4 for either Risk or Cyber. When would be the most appropriate time to make the change? I heard that Senior Staff in mid-tier would most likely be hired as an “Experienced Hire” in Big 4. So would it be smarter to make the move now as a first year staff since I’ll be considered Experienced Hire anyway?

As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Hi fishes, I want to move to management consulting. Current role is an internal data science consultant for driving OpEx.
Background: MS in Statistics from tier-1 Institute, 3 YoE across Bank of America and UBS, based in India.

Is it possible without a) going for an MBA b) Starting from the bottom at Undergrad analyst level.
Would ideally target pre-MBA Associate level (one step short of post MBA level).

Any leads/strategy to crack this would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you who made the switch to in house/corporate law, what was your experience like? Did you have to take a lower position to gain the experience or were you able to argue that your soft skills were transferable to in house? Are there any fully remote lawfirms, ie you don't have to live in the state they have offices? I recently left a large lawfirm to go in-house which came with a huge paycut that is not going to be sustainable long term, but needed a remote position to be able to move. What is the average paralegal salary in NC for a commercial real estate law office? I’ve been with a great firm for the last 9 years but am starting to wonder if I’m being compensated fairly. The company is about 30 employees (mostly attorneys) but I work primary for 4 of the attorneys.

Has anyone dealt with a lack of praise from attorneys? I'm not someone who needs to hear "good job" all the time, but we just got a huge deal closed that I worked really hard on and had a lot of overtime. And once it closed, the lead attorney praised the other attorneys, and said nothing about me or my work. I might just be overly sensitive, but it kind of stung. Thoughts?

Paralegals: My firm is looking for a paralegal, and I see the job posting advertising the salary as $65-$75k, with benefits. Is this a good salary for a paralegal (Greater LA area)? I’m not the decision maker, but it’s been a few weeks with very few applicants. I’m curious if there’s something hurting the firm in its search.

How much do part time, experienced paralegals in Pennsylvania make?
