Associate partner ibm is like senior manager at other firms
IBM1 - Yea its always true. I have seen at least 30 samples in the Digital space who were AP and had joined at a SM/D level. Big4 pays slightly better in the variable component than IBM as IBM usually screws up the variable piece. People tend to choose Big4 SM/D over IBM AP if they have offer from both.
Lol DD1 - Where did I say AP and Partner and IBM are the same level and that Associate Partner at IBM is equivalent to Partner at Big 4?

D1 - Totally not true. I have never seen an Associate Partner at IBM leave and become a SM elsewhere. When they leave, they remain an AP. Similarly, APs in Big 4 joining IBM do so as an AP.
Pwc1 same. I’ve seen at least 10 examples of this. And also, at infosys, principal is senior manager as well. At Capgemini principal is right after senior manager and right before Vice President.
Big 4 SM isn’t the same as Big 4 D. I’ve seen IBM AP to Big 4 Director, but not IBM AP to SM.
Ibm1 you can pull up LinkedIn and I guarantee you’ll find many associate partners who went to the big 4 as a Senior Manager.
IBM, no other firm has a level called Associate partner so..... I’ve also got someone within my network right who went from ibm associate partner > EY Sr manager > Deloitte Sr manager > ibm partner. This was within the span of 6.5 yrs so sorry, associate partner at ibm is not equivalent to partner at big 4. Associate partner and partner at ibm are two different levels as well. An associate partner works for a partner to prove himself for the partner level. They have sales targets and don’t have equity just like Sr manager at big 4. Anyone can go on LinkedIn and find similar profiles. Also have friends who work there that have said this before.
