What is BCG's brand/identity?

I get that McK is the biggest and most prestigious, Bain has the close-knit culture and is very strong in PE.

However, for BCG I always get the impression they are great but not quite McK, across most aspects.

Made the pivot from Big 4 to Bain and frankly underwhelmed. Seems like Bains Ops capabilities / general knowledge resources / white papers are lagging the industry quite a bit. Miles behind BCG / McKinsey as well. Literally only good for PE and nothing else.
