A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

Helps if the recruiter knows your name and is willing to help you out. Doesn’t matter if you clear the process or not, ensure that you make good connections with the recruiter that you can later leverage

I would second this. I did really well on my first on-site interviews and my recruiter set up a call and asked if she could share my profile with others. That’s actually how I got my second interview although I didn’t get to on-site that time.

Referrals likely help. I’ve applied to 3 and have interviewed twice.

If you're being challenged by the 3 jobs per month thing, I would think the implication is you don't have a narrow enough focus on roles you want to apply for. Are you just applying to unrelated roles that look interesting? Because that looks kind of bad from the recruiter's POV.
Referral from a googler that knows you and will actually call the hiring manager to tell them they have referred someone awesome

If you struggle passing pre screening, probably it's because you are applying to roles with too much competition, either in terms of brand and years of experience. If you have a specialist consultant profile, it's easier to make the cut for specific roles (I joined as HR consultant, two friends of mine one as Finance consultant and the other as Cloud consultant). I have been slightly "down leveled", but I managed to get in in a time frame right for me. Trade offs worth considering

I have been at Google for a while, and I know leveling criteria from my former company. I got 1 level lower (also know people with same background and title that got 2 levels more) , but I am OK with that considering the opportunity
