Isn't hnr block/ block advisors covered?

like

What EY1 said above is correct, except the $90. Substitute it with $75.

like

I think there's an additional allowance if you have to file returns in multiple states. This has been the case previously.

like

Thanks everyone

like

Depends on what you use and why you need it. Check gT&E expense policy. I think it's $90 for everyone using software/website from hr block, turbo tax, etc., or a bit more if you use the EY service. Plus all software/website tax filings due to EY travel are 100% covered. Nothing is covered if you use an accountant

I thought it was $75.

I thought an accountant was covered

Bummer to see they dropped the general allowance (clearly I haven't done my taxes yet...)

Hello All,

Can anyone please help me here.
I have made my tax payment in July 2022 but yesterday (15 Nov 2022) I receive an email that tax payment is due for assessment year 2022-23

I called to help desk and he advised to raise rectification request from Tax portal and update the challan number. I tried to raise request but need to upload some XML or json file there. I am not sure how to upload or modify that file.

Does anyone know what steps need to follow as I already made my tax payment.

Advice time. So I’m making 100k roughly and I still live with my parents. Moved back due to COVID as did a lot of people I think? Anyways I want to save $ to buy a house. Should I still be living at home? I was planning on leaving when COVID finally becomes a thing in the past so assuming the summer of 2022 so roughly 8 months from now. I know I am extremely blessed and thankful to god that my parents are kind and allow me this but just want advice please.

I’m going crazy in Audit, I’m an A2. I think I’m going to try and transition to consulting. Would it be smarter to stay within the firm or go to a new one, and is there a half-step I should take (such as going to TAS for a year or so) before going into consulting? I just want more exposure to companies I work on than just the audit, it doesn’t feel like stuff I’ll be using in 5 years (but I’d be happy to be proven wrong on that). Business strategy/biz dev is catching my interest recently.
