I got Senior Analyst role at Roche,Chennai and Analyst role at Novartis. Roche is offering 1 Lakh more than Novartis.
Which one do I choose?
One advantage with Novartis is it is in my hometown. I'm thinking of joining Roche for now and then apply Novartis may be 2-3 years later for Asst. Manager role.
Also how is it like working in Roche? ( Growth, WLB)
Thanks in advance!

No such thing as a 1st year Consultant here...How many years experience, what practice, and what market are you’re biggest determinants
I’m not in our Tech practice, (analytics here) - so maybe another Slalom person will comment to give better estimate. My ballpark would be 115-125. Based on 5 years exp, Chicago market.

Came in as a first year SC (4-5 years total experience) and was around 120, big city
EY2, if I were you, I’d only take a Solution Principal role (our High M / Low SM). Sometimes you will still come in as a consultant if new city to build network. SP 8-9 yrs I would say 160ish not including quarterly bonuses in Analytics practice. Again, these are ballparks from salary talk from peers
Think you answered the question already S2 😉
I have 5 years experience, Software Development, and Chicago
Hi S1 , what would be the comp for someone who’s an analytics manager at big4 say Chicago ? 8-9 years overall exp if it helps
At m1.
What do you make now?
A 40-60k salary cut from your current salary is wow
@op. Your salary could be 100, 115, or 130k
It really will depend on what you have done over those 5 years. Are you a developer or are you front and center as an application architect with the client (more meetings, less coding).
Also why leave immediately before the mgr promo?
