USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Should have noted that I’ve already left consulting
Congrats! 🎉🍾 Lol
It depends on the overall job and role. I took a slight paycut switching jobs for worse wlb once and it was a great decision based on future earnings, growth opportunities and mentorship.

Lot of consultants leave for no increase (consulting to industry)...making 280/300k at EM level makes it hard to find an increase in industry.

For a consulting exit? 50%. Post consulting, 30%
Hm. I hear you. Fair enough
7%.
I switched jobs for a 12% increase in salary and 0% increase in top possible TC (lower bonus). However, the pay increase trajectory was exponentially higher and I knew it. Two years later I’m at 30% more than I would’ve been making
I would take no increase if it meant better WLB and 100% remote all the time (even post-COVID)
For reference though I.m have two young kids. If you asked me 5 yrs ago I would have cited salary differential only at 20% mininum
Depends on the role, how much faster it gets me to the next level, and if I like the team and the growth opportunity. If its essentially the same role, then its probably 15 - 20%.
