JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

I've seen the most funniest HR moves to delay or even not give a definite answer for rejections:
1) A guy took my call, send me an assessment for a PM role, with workload which would take me a week of actual time to complete. Sent it on a Friday, wanted it by Monday morning. I saw some really nice work related questions that a PM would solve 1 month in and skipped it.
Called him for a week with no response. He replies that whole office was busy in Puja, and I was not selected. Turns out they didn't read the reports, answers or the analytics. Not even a feed back.
2) One recruiter approached me, called me with JD, and set up a virtual test. Breezed through the test. She set up a meeting on Tuesday, and then started cancelling every meet till Thursday. Ghosted without a reason. When contacted next week, she told that her cat died and I was not selected. Alag Bakchodi.
3) One denied me a role after cracking 3 technical stages saying, we are not sure of the position itself. 🤷
Better to move on.
But don't forget how they treated you on case they come back to you.
It is best to move on if they do not give you timeline for the close. One company based in Mumbai gave me a timeline for closing their position of my candidature in one week and set up responses professionally to process that. That's what you need to look to see how professional they are.
