How good is to join @coforge as senior developer
Hi, I been working for Lloyds Bank for almost 9 years now , I recently attended a interview for Barclays and offered an Senior Business Analyst AVP role in Wealth and private banking area. I did not see much difference in the salary offered and it is pretty much same ie 68.5k.But the difference is current role is London based, however the Barclays one is based in Glasgow where cost of living is less in comparison. I am unable to decide whether to take the offer or not..any suggestions will be helpful pls.

Wait KPMG people are all getting a $5K bonus?
No details released fully exact words were “up to $1000” sometime in November to help offset the costs of working from home.

Just spoke to a KPMGer who said non-promotees are receiving “compression” raises in the 0-4% range depending on market (10% if promoted), no performance bonuses, and everyone getting $1000 WFH bonus. He was unsure if that is pre- or post- tax. Sounds about right, more realistic than 5k bonus lol.
If you didn't get promoted you will not receive any raise. Also it is up to $1000, more details to come.
Having a job?
Yea without any tax effect
The payment will happen in November as a direct deposit and will not be considered income, so no need to gross up. Amount will be up to $1000, based on your employment status March 2020 - March 2021. If you started after March 2020, it will be prorated and if you have given your notice or are seasonal with a term date before March 2021, it will be prorated. I'm not sure if it is affected by full or part time status.
