Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

Hi,
In tcs my joining date is passed still not received onboarding link.
Is it normal there because been 4 days delay still they are not giving any update.
It’s kinda hectic to call every time to recruiter and get back with the same answer like work in process.
Should I even expect the joining date?
Let me know if anyone faced that kind of situation before. Tata Consultancy even onboarding manger is not giving Reply’s to my. Mails
I am sorry, is this LinkedIn or some dating blog?

Unfortunately with nonprofits there is frequently a trade off between the "goodness" of the cause and the pay. Best paid nonprofits tend to be less exciting mission, like trade associations, certifying bodies, and research institutes. If you're super jazzed about the cause of American dentists lobbying Medicare reimbursement rates or companies self-certifying compliance with harmonized stormwater management practices, you'll be in heaven and making plenty... But most people don't really care about that as a cause.
Helping kids, helping the environment, helping the poor, etc, don't expect to earn much.
FWIW fed gov and state AGs office likely pay 6 figures if you have 5+ YOE. And definitely checks the box of meaningful work
Look into private public interest firms too. Harvard maintains a good list. https://hls.harvard.edu/bernard-koteen-office-of-public-interest-advising/private-public-interest-law-and-plaintiffs-firm-guide/
Many government agencies doing good work too, depending on the state where you live.
Agree about the trade off between the goodness of the cause and pay. Ironically, execs at non profits often make a LOT of money (my husband worked for United Way for a long time and spilled the tea on how much the C-level suite was making). So there are ways to make more money there, but not necessarily through law
Conduct needs assessment as get a rough sketch on the needs you can and can’t address, use your interests and work experience as a jumping off point to “fight the good fight” and consider starting your own non-profit! ^__^
