There arent really any hard rules for us like that regarding hours. Basically, everyone that clocks in gets to take a 20-30 minute break at some point in order to eat. So basically you tell the kitchen what you want and when it comes out you get to eat and relax for a bit.

Where I am 10 hour shifts get a 25 min and a 15 min. 12 hour shifts get a 30 min and a 25 min. Anything less than 10 hours gets one 15 min break. All breaks are paid. In AP though we generally don’t take a break. Just pause to eat as needed.

Depends on the state but that would be so illegal in many states! We get 2 paid 15s and an unpaid 30 for every 7 hours worked
I had the same thought as Director, and we have the same break policy. I wonder if we're in the same state. If we were a union shop, there'd probably be a paid lunch break and possibly three "rest breaks" in a regular shift.
If we're working over 6 hours then we typically get a 20 minute break and a 30 minute lunch which is awesome since it helps to break up the day a lot. Anything under 6 hours is just a 20 minute break, but sometimes I wish it was a bit longer.
We're pretty much the same thing. We just do 30 minutes for every 8-hour shift. I will typically give extra breaks and things slow down.
We get a 30 minute unpaid break for every 8 hours we work in addition to two-15 m inute breaks that are paid. However they really don't like us to take the 15 minute breaks because of course thats time they are paying us for.
We work 12 hours are get a 25 minute and a 30 minute break.
