Lots of people at my firm have NF or Fjallraven bags. I don't think they look unprofessional as long as they don't look like you dropped them down the mountain on your last hike!
I use a tumi!
I have a nice Tory Burch black leather tote. We have computers we can log into in the office though so I don’t have to lug my laptop back and forth and don’t have much to carry other than my lunch, phone charger and a few other random things.
I have a Disney faux leather handbag that fits my laptop, headset, and mouse in, plus a travel mug :)
I also take a separate handbag with my personal bits in :)
It reflects my personality and looks semi professional, plus I’ve seen other in the Northampton office with gym bags and worn backpacks so nobody is judging you honestly :)

I don’t use a bag, all I need is my phone and my badge holder where I also keep my driver’s license.
Just got the Tumi Montana. Excited to try it out
I see nothing wrong with adding polish to your look but, at the same time, I don’t think anyone cares. If you’re client facing and have to carry a bag, it would be different…. I think.
I’ve bought from Tory and Cole Haan. Cole Haan has really great, durable and stylish backpacks. But, pick something that reflects you and has the utility you need.
