Anyone starting at Deloitte Jan 11?!
Hello, I have an offer from Publicis Sapient for their product management internship program. Wondering if anyone has any insight into the program (exits, etc) and how the return offer looks like in terms of salary. I still also hold an interest in data science so might go with another offer but I’m not sure if it is a wise choice to let go of a PM offer while I have it.

Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.
Current company TC: $125k in Utah.
YOE: 7 with M.S. and MBA

Assuming your starting point for comparison is undergrad hire. Then B4 will take probably 25 years to get to 1m. However the pension allows for high earnings past retirement.
MBB will likely receive cash comp of 1M within 2 years of partner so probably ~12-14 years.
T2 will be similar maybe add 1-3 years to MBB timeframe
Start your own business.
Despite what everyone on this app thinks it is possible to become extremely wealthy outside of technology
Thinking through my friends and their very wealthy parents:
- started a tile business
- financial services business
- sold meals to the US military
- real estate services
- commercial construction (this is actually my late 30s old neighbor and he just bought a $150k car to go along with his other $80k car)
- landscaping business
- hotels
I agree that people overindex on fancy titles and companies as opposed to business owners (who some are regarded as average joes) while they are incredible strategiests with skin in the game. I would love if they had more recognition

It’s almost like you need to find anything you’re good at and scale up. Plumbing was just the example and surely a more difficult path than the one us power point monkeys are on.
Startup. Prob the most common place I’ve seen business function folks get near 7 figures while still being relatively young.
EP1, yeah, the most junior SA1 without an MBA is 160 base.
Exactly, the way to it in my comment is via equity. So there’s a risk the equity may not reach there. But that’s the risk a lot of young folks take. I wouldn’t say the prob is low though.
Tader at a Chicago prop fund. Friend is 28 made $10M TC. He started there right out of school. So couple of promos.
These guys are razor briiant though. Not for everyone

MC1, what part of my statement are your arguing with? The compensation? Or the revolving door?
Consulting is generally low paying compared to FAANG
Yeah that sucks haha. But you still don’t seem to know how equity grants work from your comments. Like fundamentally you misunderstand it
Business owners 😮💨
Yessir
Lots of business roles if you’re highly successful, law, some fields of medicine
Consulting, most types of finance, founder, senior executive in any industry/function combo
Business Analyst 2 YOE experience is $140? I’m in the wrong field 😅. What’s your COL?
Coach
MBB = 130 ish TC out of undergrad, regardless of COL
PE/HF/VC. If you manage to stick it out to the end, you can get really fat off of management fees even if you’re not actually a good investor lol
High finance in general will lead to 7 figures if you manage enough capital and generate good good returns I guess
How are you at $140k at 22?
Standard MBB comp
I don’t think partners/mds in consulting make 7 figures
7 figures is year 1 for an MBB equity partner…
MBB
Quants at HFs prob touch that stuff before 30 if they start out of UG
Yes not I’m not smart enough to make it as a quant

7 figures by when?
And probably get that a bit earlier if high performer
