15-25%
20%
Only got 10%
% is what they will offer you. If Big4, negotiation will be tough, but give it a try - recently promoted is when jumping to another Big4 will get you a bigger bump.
If nonBig4, do your research (plenty of salary threads on here and elsewhere), figure out a 5-10k range of where you should be based on experience + achievements/capabilities + locale, and go negotiate. It's better to be the squeaky wheel than to be unhappy because you know you're under paid.
I would say aim for 20%, but expect 15%
10%
My husband got promoted. He only got 10%. Lucky for those who got the 15-20% raise.
I got 15%. Realistically speaking, you should expect 10-15% raise. Hope this helps.
Always go for the most they can give like 20%. But never settle for less than 10%. 10 to 15 is fine.
Usually 8-10%. It would be much better if you can negotiate. But that's the normal increase.
The highest you can get would be 15% (in most cases). But I have to agree with everyone on the 10% increase.
