What redemption have you made for United miles? I've been struggling to get more than 1 cpp for united..

Does anyone have pro tips on how to get status match with another airline. Currently have status with United but rarely fly these days, so would like to get a match before it expires at the end of the year.

Back in May 2021, I rented a property that had sustained damage during the big snow storm. This wasn't disclosed at lease signing. The home leaked every time it rained, mold was found in the home & the LL failed to make repairs that resulted in me falling down a flight of stairs. Should I stay in downtown Palm Springs? An outlying resort? Any other day trips? Female solo traveler. Also debated flying from SD to Santa Barbara instead of Palm Springs. Just want to be outside and enjoy good food, wine, scenery, hiking, relaxation.

Would it be practical to look for an apartment 10-15 kms away if the office location is Marathahalli?
Location of choice would be hebbal, thanisandra, avalahalli and other similar ones.
Would it make sense to reside in such locations and travel to work?
