I’m sorry give me grief about my analogy but Slalom is like that Lula Roe of Consulting firms. It’s a body shop and they get their bodies from burned out big 4 consultants. Would you want to work in a place whose culture is based in negativity and settling? Also all they do is tech implementation, PMO, and change management. So if that’s your thing, go for it. But something tells me if you’re in this profession you’re a little more go-getter than that.
The bitterness you hear in my answers come from when i interviewed with them lured by the prospect of doing work im passionate about without being on a plane every week away from my family. And then the partner in the city i interviewed with told me she’d hire me if i sold work and stood up a practice in my speciality area in her market. And if i recruiter the talent to do it. No support or investment from Slalom- it was all on me. That place takes advantage of people. Don’t fall for it. Go to industry.
