How technical is the role? Based on my interview experience, marketing analyst positions are less technical, not requiring programming languages as mandatory skills.
I would say anywhere between 85K-120K should be the ballpark

That’s hard because it depends on what the other candidates are quoting them. If everyone is equal skill-wise, they’re going to pick the one within their budget.
It’s also hard because you both have already anchored it on a number, which is 100k.
If the hiring manager sets the budget, you might be able to start anchoring at 150 and act shock if they deviate too far from that figure.
Say you have x, y, z and make sure you can do python sql and the likes well, then you can probably get away with 130 to 140, which I feel is pretty good.
