What Should I Do After Amazon Decided I'm a Fit for SDE-1 Instead of SDE-2?
After interviewing for an SDE-2 role at Amazon i have passed the bar but the panel decided that more system design skills were needed and offered me SDE-1 role verbally the recruiter then connected me with a hiring manager who had an open position but the manager moved forward with other candidates. It's been a week without updates from the recruiter.
do recruiters try and find other teams? Can I still expect an offer

I have to admit that I wasn't terribly impressed by the virtual Co-Lo for Digital. The exception to that, though, was David's insightful comment that leadership knows and expects that many of us are struggling to come back from the pandemic, and it's okay to ask for help and or take a leave. Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?
