What skills a Data Architect must have to succeed in profession.

Looking to brainstorm ... What's the next wave to ride for the next 3-5 years and how to position yourself?

I have been practicing in creditors rights/foreclosure in PA & NJ for around 4.5 years. Due to the foreclosure/eviction moratoriums there is no work to do and I was furloughed. I am looking to change directions- what is the most logical next move?

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker. My access for Becker expired already and I don't want to spend 2k again 😭 such a tough choice to make but I feel like I'm not getting what I need from Wiley.

Got an offer from Capgemini for 10LPA fixed and also I got an offer from HCL for 11LPA (includes variable pay but mentioned it will be paid monthly basis) , which one is good to join to develop my career growth. Having 4YOE in network security , vulnerability management and selected for the role of vulnerability management in both the firm's

Hello all, I am a fresher and have joined TCS in 2021. I have worked with mainframe and a bit of Salesforce. Now I am not enjoying the work here as I feel myself stagnant. Apart from that I am not that much inclined towards coding. Can you all please suggest me that shall I make a switch now? What cert to go for next? Currently have AWS-SAA and Security+. Thinking about CISSP but how difficult is it compared to the AWS-SAA?

I keep getting recruiters asking to apply for new roles, which is what I thought I wanted because I’m not growing at my agency. But I’m so fatigued I don’t even know if I want to stay in advertising. Have y’all left or took a break to do something different? What did you do?

Hi everyone, realizing my career may be incompatible with my needs at home (I have a school age child with special needs). Any moms/dads find any companies or jobs in the UX field that are part time? I am wondering if it’s possible to stay in this field or if I need to take a step back and figure out something new. What has worked for any of the working moms/dads out there. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...
