Take out only what you need in student loans.
Ideally, put yourself in a scenario where you can take less loans.
Stay on top of speaking to the financial aid office and looking for unclaimed grants and scholarships that can be given to you.
If you have the type of time to where you can afford to work I also say that you can offset some of the tuition cost by just holding a job of some sort.
I agree with working while in school but I don't think it offsets tuition costs...
See if any jobs offer student loan assistance as a benefit. Also, get a job that pays well and sets you up for the future (even if it’s not exactly what you want to do).
If possible, live with your parents after college until you finish paying off your loans
Sometimes if your loans accepted are more than the amount you actually need, you'll get the extra money as a check near the start of each semester. You could immediately pay this amount back to decrease your loans if this happens to you
This is a good idea in theory, but a lot of people need this money for things beyond tuition (books, rent, groceries, etc)
Drop out… I’m kidding, slightly 😂😂😂
Just…..don’t go?! 😂
NO VARIABLE LOANS!
Yeah… really wish this was an option I had when I so signed for my loans!
