Dear Amdocs Hiring Team, Thanks for the worst experience. You guys took almost 2 months for hiring process, asked for all the documents, even shared the CTC breakup over email and at last after multiple follow ups over calls and emails, you replied by stating that "Unfortunately , we are not moving ahead with your candidature at moment." When I asked the reason, you are clueless till now what to say? You guys even don't have enough courage to respond my calls. #Amdocs #Hiring

Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?
My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? To prepare:
- Tell me about yourself (need a clear articulation of your experience and skill set, which ideally aligns to the job description)
- Tell me about a campaign you worked on and how you arrived at the insight.
- Look at the job description and if they highlight any skills required make sure you have example prepared
- some people like to through out curly questions like ‘tell me about a lesson you’ve learned in your career or a failure you’ve overcome’ so prepare them just in case.
- ensure you have a clear definition of what an insight is and what strategy is to you etc
To ask them:
- tell me a bit about the type of work you do on the account?
- what’s the culture like of the team?
- what’s your ideal strategic partner look like?
- what’s the client relationship like?
What does success look like in the role? (Remember, you’re not just applying for this job, you’re also looking ahead at the promotions)
What is the team structure/dynamic?
Which systems are used ?
Do research on the account.
What’s your favorite work out there and why.
Give me an example of an insight you found and what came from it.
I’ve also had people ask “what is your process - from the time you receive the assignment to the end” and also “how do you like to work with creative/ account”
When I hire an associate, I'm more interested in how they shape their perspective more than their hard skills. Demonstrate your interest in people, culture, brands. Have an opinion. Be pleasant to interact with. And show you're hungry to learn and get shit done. Everything else can be taught.
