Nothing new at all but I find using separate accounts (eg Monzo) to categorise spending to be good. Only spending money goes there and any bills / direct debits stay in my main account. Only started this month as I’ve realised I saved nothing over the past year 😓
Watch Martin Money Saving Expert's latest show...he was saying we need to watch out for LISAs...
Being priced out of the LISA house price limit (£425k?) with the current London house market values - apparently people have withdrawn their money to but a house (which is what it's for) but had to pay a fine (as the house cost too much) which reduced their balance to less then they had put in.
I use Moneybox. Direct Debit from my account every week/month straight into a stocks and shares ISA. I don’t think I’m eligible for a LISA as I’ve bought a house.

Oh and the banking app Chip are doing great things at the moment! 3% on savings (paid monthly) and they do a stocks and shares ISA (although to be honest I'm down in that at the moment as I've selected very high risk shares - Clean Energy - and would you believe there is an f'ing wind drought in the UK at the moment!) They also take a small amount out of your account each month, mines about 6 quid and since 2021 that's amount to £1900 :)
