Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI

It depends on the company. Some companies maybe tweak some language in the posting and pull down the old one and repost a new one, or they increased the number of people they need in that role and reposted. So dependent on company and role type.
I apply a few times throughout the year usually works sometimes it’s all about timing
I’m also curious about this. I was passed over for not having specific industry knowledge - but what I bring to the table are all skills you can’t teach someone & experience in other markets for the role. Then yesterday I noticed the role filled a few months ago was reposted. I may reach out to the CEO & say something along the lines of - how ‘bout now 🤣
You don’t get what you don’t ask for.
80% of job postings on LinkedIn are fake. There is no intent to hire someone to fill them. The most common cause is the company is sponsoring an H1B or PERM (Green Card) applicant and the law requires them to prove they tried to find an American and couldn't. Next most common is a corporate policy requiring all openings to be posted externally even if they have an internal employee they are going to put in the role. Other common causes are staffing agencies trying to fill their CV database and companies doing market research on talent dept and compensation ranges.
It is configured to be automatically posted regularly until the job is fulfilled. Or someone simply forgot to turn off the switch.
Why do you think they will consider you if you were rejected for the same role ? Even if the job is still open, they decided that you are not a match
Ahh, thanks it's good to know. I've recently started job hunting and seeing roles reopen, but I haven't reapplied yet and wanted to get ideas from others. For one of the companies I really like, I've upskilled since in areas I was deficient, hence the thought to reapply.
