Really depends on your skills and past experience, if any. Also depends on what the role is, there are various types of data analytics teams/disciplines. Not all are the same, many should not even exist.
yeah - we pay $65K at that level.
I started at 67-74 base range in 2020 but can’t speak for average
As others mention 65k sounds about right for an agency. Don’t be afraid to ask for a signing bonus especially if you are expected to relocate eventually
Depends on agency. Can be as low as in the 40s at some.
i started out at an agency in SF for $40k back in 2014 🙈
65 is the minimum, it should be more like 70-80 for entry level, depending on experience, company, role.
What's funny is that many agencies just want people who already know the data, even over analysts (who haven't been in marketing analytics specifically). So they actually seem to prefer hiring media planner types for analyst/data analyst in marketing type roles! As long as you know how to create take the insights you gather and throw them into visualizations and dashboards in Tableau/Power BI etc... Then they'll probably like you for the role
An analyst is around $60-$65k - but To be fair an “analyst” which is “entry level” often requires a year of experience or some background and training at a minimum. True entry level, which might even be intern or junior analyst is lower from what I’ve seen.
35!
