Candidly, it depends on your experience and what you’re meant to produce and for how long they intend to keep you. The longer the stay the lower the rate. If you’re doing a TVC full up with social extensions versus just the social bit. Rates are being depressed at the moment so if you can get somewhere between 750 - 900 you’re in good shape but again it depends.
Day rate if agency side lately has been closer to $750. Big agencies used to pay $800+ but all the mid size or smaller ones seem to be scoping closer to $700, even $650.
Jesus. Sad state of affairs. I’d never accept a rate that low. Might as well get out of the business.
Who knows anymore. 100/hr ...+ /- 20 bucks.
My rate is $1K a day, I don’t do hourly.
When asked to take an hourly rate, I’ve negotiated a 10-hr day so it ends up at least being my day rate plus whatever beyond that.
