I’m 21 and want to learn directly from entrepreneurs, what would be the best way to discover and learn about entrepreneurship and starting your own company. I was going to look for conventions near me or networking events. If you could share other ways or youtube channels/content or books to read. Thank you!

Book recommendation - "Ride of a lifetime" by Robert Iger. Story of someone who started as a studio operator and went on to become the CEO of Walt Disney.

Really relatable to most of us who are employees and not entrepreneurs. Books on Steve Jobs, Elon Musk are all good but I loved Robert's story more as I could relate and aspire. How he takes tough decisions, how he negotiated with Steve Jobs to acquire Pixar, his honesty, humility etc. are all something we can learn from. Go for it fishes 😄

I am searching for anyone who was like me 6 years ago; sitting in public accounting, while secretly working with my small book of clients on the side hoping to get the nerve to leave. I want to connect with accountants that are ready to make the transition from employee to entrepreneur.

If that’s you – we should chat! I would love to share my experience with you, so you can avoid some pretty common pitfalls I made.

Valid concern or am I overthinking it?

I'm looking for a technical cofounder in the Bay Area.

I'm working on a new startup, and I think I've got something really good. The tech itself is nothing new (no blockchain, AI, fancy algorithm, etc.) The vision requires only tried and tested tech (read full-stack engineer).

I know business (ops/marketing/sales/fundraising/etc), and pretend to know tech... I'm looking for someone who can actually execute on that side.

I can offer equity and nominal pay if necessary. Ping me if interested!
