Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

do and debrief as many cases as you can without burning yourself out. you'll learn all the technicals you need while debriefing the cases, I wouldn't spend too much time on reading.
For me and many others, doing MCQ’s should take up a bulk of your study process. I skipped all the video lectures and just read each chapter with brief note taking and then hopped into random MCQ’s and did tons until I felt like I had a good grasp of the subject. But more importantly, you should find which study method works best for you and stick do that. Another piece of advice I can give is to stick to a somewhat tight timeline for your exams. Giving yourself a ton of time to study might actually hurt you in the end.
Suggest applying for your NTS and scheduling the exam for each section before or during your studies. That way you don’t have room to slack and have a deadline to get all your studying in.
The worst thing to do is take a laissez faire approach, you’ll end up at manager age with no cert wondering where all the time went.
