Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

I gave interview in Amazon and cleared all the rounds , then went on hold and still on hold due to hiring freeze in that departement. HR does respond and update me when reached out.
Interesting thing which happened here is iam cracking each every product based interviews now after my tough preparation for Amazon and getting higher packages than what Amazon would give. So whatever happens , happens for good. Cheers Amazon

Went from b4 to RSM and culture and clients way better, IMO. I'm much happier here.
I was at KPMG. It's all relative to the specific locations and offices. Don't think a certain firm will be better because of the name on the door. Interview and meet people face to face and get a feel. Once I did that I immediately knew.
^lol
Benefits are comparable, got a nice bump in salary
Seems like RSM has similar promotion track to PwC? My friend started out in RSM and she told me 2 year staff, 2 year senior and 1-2 years as "supervisor"
@CLA1 yikes! I would have to take a big pay cut if I don't stay in PA :( Trying to move closer to family
^that surprises me. I thought that going from big 4 to another top 10 firm would be about the same. I thought only small firms have true work-life balance
What about BDO? They're the fifth largest accounting firm in the US
Thanks @RSM1!
I came from industry to RSM and while the hours during busy season can be rough (it's still PA) I really enjoy the people I work with and benefits offered. Maternity/paternity leave policy is insanely good since they just updated it, in case you're looking to settle down in that way. Promotion path is identical to PWC based on above.

@RSM1 mind if I ask which b4 you were at? Are your benefits comparable to what they were at b4?
As long as you're not looking at advisory in the "Great Lakes" region, RSM might be an ok alternative. I still suggest going into industry.
