Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?

I just make sure I'm there on time. If I'm a few minutes early that's not a problem. I wouldn't worry about the other person getting a notification, I'd rather make sure I'm connected and everything is functional.
I show up in the waiting room 1-2 minutes before. There's no reason to join earlier than that. Do a quick mic and video check, then sign in.

This is the way
Don’t be early, just on time
For virtual interviews, I’ve always made sure to be fully ready at my desk sufficiently early, and to join the call around 5 minutes ahead of the meeting time.
This is what I do as well. It is more for my own nerves than anything else. I don't like feeling like I am running late.

I don’t think there’s any problem joining the link a few mins early

I’ve felt that awkwardness too. I usually sit there ready a few minutes early, then join right on time or a minute early so it doesn’t feel like I’m popping into their screen too soon.

I would usually show up 2-3 minutes early personally
There is no harm in joining early and it will calm your nerves down. Also it will give you plenty of time to check your mic etc. so yes, join about 5 mins early.
