My wife texts me that my 15 month old constantly says "da-da" and walks to my office to see if him home and then looks sad when I'm not there. I don't think I can take this emotional torture. 😢

I know this isn’t a marriage therapy bowl, but my husband has a really terrible tendency of saying things like “you’re being really mean” and completely shutting down during a disagreement when i objectively am not being mean, just truthful or vocal about how i feel about something. It’s a really convenient argument for him because it enables him to either be the victim and me the villian, or forces me to concede my stance and not reach a true resolution. Any tips on dealing with the irrational?

Today is my first day back at work (and first full day back in my physical office) after a few weeks off for parental leave. Needless to say, I am struggling to stay focused on anything other than wanting to go back home to my spouse and child.

I don’t understand how someone can lie about loving you for 6 months. We were together for almost a year (broke up a week before our anniversary). I said I love you first and he said it back. I asked for more reassurance last month with saying I love you more often. Now all of a sudden he said he didn’t know if he loved me and that love meant marriage for him. Okay well great thanks for telling me this now, 6 months after it was initially exchanged. I don’t understand how he could do that.

Does anyone have ideas for social distancing little kids walking in line? Teaching personal space in moving lines is difficult in normal years, but this year I don't know how I will get them to keep a 6ft. distance as they walk.

Feeling a deep void in close human connection after letting go a relationship that was lacking a future (I was interested in something more, he was unsure). Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.
