Currently pregnant with my 1 and only.. I’m done lol

Planned for 3 and have 4. Still focused on career while enjoying my kiddos. Find the right balance for your situation and take any help you can get eg LOA
They are in early twenties now so a lot easier. Yes when they were younger we had all the challenges you would expect but we pushed through
I have 2 and it’s manageable. Tapping out here lol.
I think the answer depends on so many parameters: What is your work industry? Is your spouse working? Can your parents help? Etc. etc. 😅
I think with wfh in a good industry and help from your parents, you could have a good balance with 2 or 3!!
Two but I wanted 3. Waited too long & didn’t feel like starting over. I have a daughter & a son. 5 years apart.

I don’t want kids or a family because… why?
1) Never guaranteed your children will stick around. Talk to folks who work in retirement homes. It is a sad reality (whether ret homes are an option or not). Guaranteeing my safety (food, shelter, health) is of paramount importance though and has been through my adult life
2) Why would I get lonely? Not something that suits my personality/temperament since age 5
3) I still have time to plan my old age. Not decrepit just yet.
2. Because I can’t imagine my life without a sibling. Would have been 1 otherwise
The number is less of an issue; the need a fully committed partner and 2 people in your circle to support you both.
I encourage more than 1 child, so they have another adult to support them when you transition.
